Atari continues to roll out assets from New York Comic-Con which kicked off today. First we brought you a new look at Ghostbusters, and now they’ve passed along a new gameplay trailer for The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena.
The welcome but rarely used practice of providing one uncut sequence for the trailer has been utilized by Atari rather than a series of quick cut action sequences.
The first part of the trailer shows off how lighting, stealth and Riddick’s “night vision” come into play. The second part shows Riddick attacking with stealth and weapons kills, as well as physics-based destructible glass.
Assault on Dark Athena is the second game based on Riddick and first on PS3 and Xbox 360. The first game, Escape From Butcher Bay, will be included in-full on the same disc with improved next-gen visuals.
The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena is due in stores this spring.
