Disney has released a new Pirates of the Caribbean: On Strangers Tides TV spot and featurette via YouTube, both of which can be watched below.
The TV spot aired during the NBA playoffs and may contain some new shots. Honestly it’s hard to tell due to the hyper-cutting between images.
The featurette, however, definitely contains some new stuff. Running a little shy of 2 minutes in length, it focuses on the unorthodox relationship between Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) and Angelica (Penelope Cruz). You’ll get to see the pair escape through a trap door, fight, embrace and everything in between.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides will arrive on May 20, a little over 3 weeks from now.
