The new Evil Dead is promising to bring much shock and gore to the horror genre when it descends upon theaters beginning April 5.
Our own Matt Hardeman was at the film’s world premiere at SXSW a couple weeks ago and called the film “Utterly and Astoundingly Awesome” in his Evil Dead review. Someone at FilmDistrict or Columbia TriStar apparently loved the quote because it has shown up in the new theatrical one-sheet movie poster as well as multiple TV spots that have aired during The Walking Dead and Arrow, amongst many other shows.

Evil Dead is directed by Fede Alvarez and stars Jane Levym, Shiloh Fernandez, Jessica Lucas, Lou Taylor Pucci and Elizabeth Blackmore.
