Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced ‘Monty Python’s Life of Brian: The Immaculate Edition’ will be available November 6 on Blu-ray Disc, day-and-date with a companion standard DVD release.
‘Life of Brian’ will be presented in widescreen 1.85:1 1080p video and PCM 5.1 audio. New extra features not found on the scores of previous DVD versions include The Story of Brian ” An All-New Hour-Long Revelation from Monty Python; and The Readthrough ” An original illustrated 110 minute recording by The Pythons of their early screenplay in progress. Additional extras include Four illustrated vintage theatrical radio ads featuring the voices of Mrs. Cleese, Mrs. Idle, Mrs. Gilliam and Michael Palin’s dentist; 5 Deleted Scenes; an Audio Commentary with Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle & Terry Jones; and an Audio Commentary with John Cleese & Michael Palin.
‘Monty Python’s Life of Brian: The Immaculate Edition’ will carry an SRP of $28.95 on Blu-ray Disc. Check back regularly for high resolution cover art.
