NBA 2K14 MyTeam New Features Detailed in Developer Diary

NBA 2K14 MyTeam New Features Detailed in Developer DiaryMyTeam is returning to NBA 2K14 this year, but not without some enhancements that the development team is excited to share.

The following developer diary walks through the features of MyTeam in NBA 2K14 and points out what’s new in this year’s version. New features include tournaments designed to let players take on other opponents online or offline against computer-controller opponents. Tournaments can also be structured based on color. So if the tournament is bronze, then only bronze-rated players are eligible to be on teams in the tournament. A schedule mode within tournaments allows you to follow an NBA team’s actual schedule with your own team. Some neat unlockables will be built into MyTeam including the ability to earn sapphire versions of players.

2K has also made team building much more customizable in MyTeam this season including naming and logo cards. Two requested features, including play with friends and leaderboards, have also been added.
