Jerry Bruckheimer and Nicolas Cage took the stage at the Walt Disney Studios Showcase today with one mission in mind: tell the world National Treasure 3 will be unearthed.
The reveal went down like this: Disney Chairman Richard W. Cooke invited the powerful pair to the stage and bluntly asked them, “How come Ben Gates never gets arrested?”
To that, Cage slyly replied, “I guess well find out with National Treasure 3, wont we?”
The planned announcement also confirmed Jon Turteltaub and most of the original cast will return. No additional details were revealed though speculation points towards a 2010 release date.
