The speculation is over as San Diego Studios announced today that MLB 14: The Show for PlayStation 4 (PS4) will hit store shelves and the PlayStation Network on May 6.
The PlayStation 4 version of MLB 14: The Show will not launch with the PS3 and PS Vita versions as previously announced. Those versions will arrive in stores to coincide closely with Opening Day on April 1st (no foolin’). The extra month of development on the PS4 version was needed to further generate more individual beard hairs on the Boston Red Sox players.
Miguel Cabrera is this season’s cover star in America, while Toronto Blue Jays star, Brett Lawrie, will grace the cover for our neighbors up north.
MLB 14: The Show is the first game in the series to allow players to transfer their created Road to the Show players between annual installments going forward, among many other new features for 2014. Expect full reviews of each version closer to launch.
