Sometime presumably next year, The Wheelman will be released as both a feature film from Paramount/MTV Films and a video game from Midway/MTV Games. This marks the second collaboration between Midway and MTV to share resources in creating properties that cross the line between film, music and games.
Vin Diesel has signed on to star as The Wheelman, an expert wheelman who comes out of retirement to protect a woman from his past. He’ll also co-produce the film which if we’re lucky will receive a similar game treatment as his The Chronicles of Riddick did.
Although no platforms have been announced, it’s fairly safe to assume we’ll see this game appear on both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. More The Wheelman news should become available as E3 nears this May.
