Midway Games has announced the next entry in the NBA Ballers series will be NBA Ballers: Chosen One, due in stores next spring exclusively on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
One-on-one and two-on-two balling returns with 65 NBA stars to choose from, each individually rendered to capture the player’s true likeness. One could easily argue these are the best looking NBA players seen in a video game yet based on this first batch of early screenshots.
New to the franchise are “action movie” cameras that film plays in a dynamic manner for more pop. In addition, gamers will be able to create a player and enter them in the “Chosen One Tournament,” where they will compete at exotic locales throughout the world, including an airport hangar and runway.
“NBA Ballers: Chosen One will allow players to live the life of an NBA superstar,” said Steve Allison, chief marketing officer, Midway. “Featuring new competitive combo and super-move systems, the NBA Ballers Franchise returns with the amazing realistic graphics for which the franchise is known as players take part in the ultimate challenge to become the next ‘Chosen One.”
