Metal Slug, Mario Headline Wii-kly Additions

Nintendo is rolling out four new games on the Wii Shop Channel this week, two WiiWare games and two Virtual Console games.

Leading the WiiWare charge is Dr. Mario Online Rx for 1,000 Wii Points. Up to four players can play the classic mode using vitamins to wipe out viruses, or partake in two new battle modes and an online multiplayer mode new to the series.


Aksys Games WiiWare entry is Family Table Tennis for 500 Wii Points. No online play is supported, but there are three mini-games: Target Table Tennis, Thrilling Table Tennis and Matching Table Tennis, to spice things up.

On the Virtual Console, the NES driving classic City Connection will cost 500 Wii Points. Also available is the classic 1996 NEOGEO shooter Metal Slug for 900 Wii Points.

All four games are now available for download via the Wii Shop Channel.
