Wii fit continues to be a bestseller, selling out the moment it hits store shelves packaged with the Nintendo Wii Balance Board. Wii owners obviously want to exercise and Majesco aims to build upon Wii Fit’s success.
Now shipping from Majesco exclusive for Wii is Jillian Michaels’ Fitness Ultimatum 2009. The game marks the first time a celebrity fitness trainer has been involved in a game for the Wii. And it probably won’t be the last.
In the game, players must endure challenging fitness tests and an “ever-changing series of workouts.” Starting with four workout types, Weight Loss, Strength Training, Intervals and Hill Climb, players can run obstacle courses, jump rope, box, row and perform breathing exercises.
Completing exercises unlocks video tips from Jillian. Split-screen exercises are available, which in Wii Fit they are not, though there is no online mode.
Jillian Michaels’ Fitness Ultimatum 2009 for Wii costs $39.99.
