LucasArts Unleashes Fracture Demo for PS3, Xbox 360

Ready for another LucasArts gaming experiencing after blowing through The Force Unleashed in record time?

Today the company powered by George Lucas announced a playable demo for their new intellectual property, Fracture, is now available for free download on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 via the Xbox Live Marketplace and Playstation Network, respectively.

The demo focuses on the single-player mode where you will get to experience the game’s calling card, Terrain Deformation. With this new technology you can “create on-the-fly cover from enemy fire, solve puzzles and revolutionize battlefield tactics as you guide Atlantic Alliance soldier Jet Brody through the deadly world of 2161, where years of environmental disaster have resulted in a geographically fragmented United States and a battle for the very definition of what it means to be human.”

The full retail game, due in stores on October 7, will feature 12-player online multiplayer modes where each player will have access to Terrain Deformation weapons.
