Paramount has supplied dessert with dinner this evening by serving a brand-new trailer for Martin Scorsese’s spooked-up Shutter Island.
In Scorsese’s latest directorial effort, which looks to be a grand “departure” from The Departed, US Special Agents Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Ruffalo are sent to a remote prison island to investigate the vanishing of one of the criminally insane occupants. Getting onto the fog covered island is easy, if creepy. Leaving, not so much.
Fellow HDR writer Shawn Fitzgerald summed up the trailer best: “Looks like Marty finally got his Oscar bug out of his system. Shutter Island looks fun!”
