LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game Sets Sail into Stores

Johnny Depp brings enough blundering and comedy as Captain Jack Sparrow before receiving the humorous LEGO treatment. Imagine what his “bricked” persona is like.

Today Disney Interactive Studios and TT Games released LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game across multiple platforms including Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS, PSP, and Nintendo’s new 3DS. The latter version includes feature and modes designed to take advantage of 3D that are not available in the others.

All four Pirates of the Caribbean films are covered in the game so you will get to see some plot points and locations from Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides before it arrives in theaters on May 20. In total there are roughly 70 playable characters that span the entire Pirates franchise.

Below you’ll find a LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game video that explores the Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides segment of the game to help put you in a swashbuckling mood.
