Lego doled out some love to both the Marvel and DC Comics properties today in anticipation of new upcoming Lego sets and the sequel to Lego Batman.
Up first we have a new poster inspired by Marvel’s artwork for The Avengers group shot theatrical one-sheet poster. Rather than the actors, each character is represented by his or her Lego mini-figure.
As a side note, the mini-figures for Nick Fury, Black Widow and Hawkeye make their official debut in this poster. The first Marvel The Avengers Lego sets are due in stores sometime in April. Keep an eye on this Amazon.com The Avengers Lego search to see when they pop up in stock.
On the DC Comics side we have the official box art for this summer’s Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes game. Represented in the box art suite below are Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii. A Nintendo 3DS and DS version will also be released in June.
