Yesterday actor Jean-Claude Van Damme suffered a minor heart attack while on the set of his latest action film, Weapon. The star of Bloodsport and JCVD had just turned 50 the day before.
According to Twitchfilm, Van Damme’s heart attack came just ahead of a scheduled three-day shoot in New Orleans. The production is now on hold while Van Damme takes some needed time off to recover.
MTV was able to get in touch with Van Damme’s reps who sent back a simple reply regarding the actor’s current condition, “He is okay.”
