The new Marvel animated direct-to-video film Iron Man: Rise of the Technovore is coming to Blu-ray and DVD on April 16, 2013, just in time to take advantage of the big marketing push for Iron Man 3.
In the film, Tony Stark faces off against a young technologically savvy terrorist named Ezekiel Stane. While deflecting Stane’s latest attack, innocent bystanders are killed and S.H.I.E.L.D. detains Stark for questioning. Stark escapes and enlists the help of The Punisher to help him stop Stane before the Technovore biotech is used to destroy all life on earth, while Nick Fury sends Black Widow and Hawkeye to track down and capture their now fugitive friend.
Iron Man: Rise of the Technovore comes to Blu-ray in 1.78:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Included on the disc are the following bonus features:
