Earlier this week, Paramount and LucasFilm announced the big Blu-ray news we have been waiting for: the first three Indiana Jones films from Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, and starring Harrison Ford, are coming to Blu-ray later this month.
The full release is titled the Indiana Jones Blu-ray Collection that will include Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and previously released Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Bonus features will be available for all four films including some all-new surprises that neither Paramount nor LucasFilm are willing to discuss at this time.
The list price for the Indiana Jones Blu-ray Collection on Blu-ray is $99.99. Amazon is currently taking pre-orders for $74.99 or 25% less than list. If you lock in a pre-order and the price drops between now and the set’s fall 2012 release – which it likely will – your pre-order price will automatically adjust to reflect the lowest price available at the time the set ships to you.

Currently the Indiana Jones Blu-ray Collection on Blu-ray sits in the number three slot on Amazon’s Blu-ray bestsellers list, updated hourly. I wouldn’t be surprised if it touches the number spot within the next couple weeks.
More details will be forthcoming on Indiana Jones Blu-ray Collection on Blu-ray in the coming months, including a release date, bonus features listing and box art.
