While we continue to wait for the first trailer from Fox and James Mangold’s The Wolverine, a slow and steady drip of new images continue to drop onto the film’s official Facebook page. The latest follows the trend of each before it by featuring Hugh Jackman and only Hugh Jackman.
There are other people in The Wolverine, of course, but for now, Fox is intent on feeding us a steady stream of Jackman looking like he’s about ready to whoop ass on someone. But we don’t get to see that someone, at least not yet. The big Silver Samurai reveal will have to wait.
This latest image featuring a snarling Jackman carries the tag line “The past is always behind you, but the memories still remain.” An emotionally troubled Wolverine is a dangerous Wolverine, no doubt.
The expected drop date for the first The Wolverine trailer is next month. Let’s hope it’s more than a little tease considering the film’s July 26, 2013 release date.
