Sideshow Collectibles has begun taking orders for the very limited edition Hot Toys Iron Man Battle Damaged Mark VII 1:6 scale figure. The previous promotional Mark VI figure sold out in hours, and this one timed for Iron Man 3 likely won’t last long either.
This Iron Man Mark VII figure is similar to the non-battle damaged regular release save for a couple big differences. It doesn’t have as many extra parts, but the battle damaged is far more pronounced and not removable. It also comes with a very cool squashed Chitauri soldier base, possibly the closest to a Chitauri figure Hot Toys will release if the prototype seen last year never makes it to production.
The figure also comes with a new head sculpt of Robert Downey Jr. wearing the Iron Man mask with the faceplate lifted up. It’s great looking at the images below can attest to.
Also included with the Battle Damaged Mark VII figure is a Chitauri weapon that looks like a reissue of the one that came with Captain America.
