Paramount has passed along a high resolution version of the first official Red Skull image from Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger movie.
The great thing about the high-res version is you can get a better look at the practical makeup used to turn Hugo Weaving into the Red Skull. I’ve also included a super high-resolution version of just the scary red head immediately below the full body shot.
Next up for Captain America is the first theatrical trailer which was originally rumored to be coming this week but never arrived. The next best bet for its appearance is next weekend attached to Sony’s Battle: Los Angeles.
