Get your daily fill of Dwayne Johnson kicking ass as Hercules in a second trailer for the upcoming film of the same name by director Brett Ratner, complimented by an all-new one-sheet poster.
Ian McShane as Amphiaraus provides a foreboding voice-over warning that man cannot escape his fate. We of course know this man to be Hercules, and as the trailer so chooses to divulge, his journey will take him from being a mercenary to an anti-hero, and ultimately put him in a position to avenge the death of his family.
This second Hercules trailer is not only full of spoilers in its plot, but also in the mythical creatures that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be battling. We saw a glimpse of a couple in the first trailer, but at least one more is revealed in this one — and it’s a big one.
Watch the new Hercules trailer below if you don’t mind coming away from it knowing all the basic story beats, or just like watching Dwayne Johnson send a man flying 20 feet with a single punch. Hercules arrives in theaters and 3D IMAX on July 25.
