HBO Orders More True Blood, Hung and Entourage

Riding increasingly strong ratings from a newly formed Sunday night lineup, HBO has ordered an additional season of True Blood, Hung and Entourage as announced at the 2010 Television Critics Association summer press tour in Pasadena.

True Blood will enjoy its third season next summer as it averages more than 11 million total viewers including repeats and DVR sessions. It has been gaining steam every episode this year rather than the traditional effect of losing viewers week over week.

Hung, in its freshman year, is running over 10 million total viewers and will receive its second season sometime next year. Entourage, currently in its sixth season, is drawing roughly 7.4 million total viewers and is also expected to remain in the summer slot.
