France’s Le Figaro magazine caught up with Harrison Ford and broached the subject of Indiana Jones with the venerable actor.
“The story for the new Indiana Jones is in the process of taking form,” Ford offered in response. “Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and myself are agreed on what the fifth adventure will concern, and George is actively at work. If the script is good, I’ll be very happy to put the costume on again.”
This quote jives with remarks made earlier this year by Shia LaBeouf to the BBC suggesting Spielberg had “cracked the story.” I think I speak for most everyone when suggesting that story, whatever it may be, should circle back to the series’ religious and archaeological roots.
