Harrison Ford Calls Indiana Jones 5 Direction “Crazy But Great”

Harrison Ford is pumped up about another adventure as Indiana Jones and recently discussed its outrageous potential with MTV.

“George [Lucas] is working on an idea,” Ford said. “And if it comes to a fruitful stage, all of us are very interested in making another.”

The next possible step for Indy, Mutt and potentially Marion is currently brewing in the mind of George Lucas. Whatever idea the series creator has up his flannel sleeve, it looks to be more over-the-top and crazy than the spindly aliens of Kingdom and the Crystal Skull.

“Some of the best ideas are crazy ideas, you know?” Ford said in defense. “Well-wrought, well-manipulated.”

Ford’s age continues to be a concern for Indiana Jones faithful as the actor turns 68 this summer. Whether he needs a wheelchair or not, Harrison intends to don the fedora at least one more time.

First things first. Until a script gets in the hands of Steven Spielberg, Ford and Shia LaBeouf and they sign off on it, Indiana Jones 5 remains wishful thinking. The ball is in George Lucas’ court.
