Last night Sony and SCEA Santa Monica Studio snuck out the first new God of War III trailer released in nearly a year. It doesn’t seem that long, does it?
In putting together this “Vengeance” trailer, Sony explains they “wanted to sell the high action of the game and put together snippets of several of the big moments.” All of the moments in the trailer, big or small, are running off the in-game engine.
The coolest part of the trailer is towards the end where Kratos battles a giant “Leviathan” creature. The scale looks huge until the camera pulls back to reveal the “Leviathan” is on the arm of a ginormous Gaia. Can you think of a bigger boss appearing in a game before?
God of War III (or 3) is nearly ready to pound PS3 when it releases on March 16.
