Oh. Yes. Amazon.com has added a pre-order listing for God of War III on Playstation 3, a game only officially confirmed to be in development at Sony’s Santa Monica studios a couple months ago. Not only that, there’s cover art and a November 15, 2008 release date attached to the listing, the first such indication of a possible release time frame Sony has concocted and released to retailers.

Of course, pre-order dates aren’t set in stone by any stretch of the imagination. But it does appear Sony has a plan, so lets hope they can execute it. Or at least shed some light on a game whose details thus far has been a closely guarded secret.
