Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced ‘Ghost Rider’ starring Nicholas Cage and Eva Mendes will be available June 12 on Blu-ray Disc, day-and-date with the standard DVD debut.
The Blu-ray version of ‘Ghost Rider’ will be presented in widescreen 1080p video and PCM 5.1 lossless audio, and include the extended cut of the film along with the ‘Spirit of Vengeance: The Making of Ghost Rider’ documentary and a pair of commentaries: the first with director/writer Mark Steven Johnson and VFX Supervisor Kevin Mack, and the second with producer Gary Foster. Missing from this version but available on the two-disc DVD are ‘Sin & Salvation: Featurette on the Comic Book Origins of Ghost Rider,’ and an Animatics featurette.
‘Ghost Rider’ on Blu-ray Disc will carry an SRP of $38.96.
