The “Biggie” biography Notorious has been confirmed for an April 21 release on Blu-ray Disc. It will share a release date with another big Fox release on Blu-ray, The Wrestler.
Fox is giving Notorious a two-disc “collector’s edition” treatment but unfortunately the details are unknown beyond that. A second disc does present the opportunity for The Notorious B.I.G. audio recordings to be included, but we won’t know for sure until Fox issues a formal press release.
You can assume Fox will utilize a 1080p transfer and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, the latter of which should help make the Notorious experience on Blu-ray unique.
