Earlier this year members of the Forza Motorsport 5 development team from Turn 10 Studios paid a visit to the 2013 24 Hours of Le Mans race at the Circuit de la Sarthe, Le Mans, France, with the Audi Sport Team Joest. This offered the team direct access to the Audi cars that will be featured in the game, as well as to the drivers that make racing them look easy.
The following behind-the-scenes video documentary takes you inside this trip as well as introduces the Audi Sport Team Joest R18 e-tron quattro, considered the world’s most dominant endurance race car design that you will get to take control of in the game at 60 frames-per-second in 1080p high definition.
Along with the video comes news that the Le Mans Circuit de la Sarthe, the Old Mulsanne version of the track as well as the Bugatti Circuit, will all be playable in Forza Motorsport 5. Rather than reuse the Le Mans track from previous Forza games, it has been built from the ground up for Xbox One using laser-scanning technology for the utmost accuracy including physically based materials.
Here’s a complete list of all the Audi cars that will appear in Forza Motorsport 5:
- 1983 Sport quattro
