You might think that the first clip from Transformers: Dark of the Moon would include some actual Transformers. If you did, you would be wrong.
In the first Transformers: Dark of the Moon clip which you can watch below, Carly (Rosie Huntington-Whitely) takes her new beau Sam (Shia LaBeouf) to meet her new rich and studly boss (Patrick Dempsey). There are some incredible classic cars and a Star Trek nod in the brief scene, but no robots.
This clip marks the first time we have gotten to hear Rosie Huntington-Whitely speak in Transformers: Dark of the Moon. She adds a bit of flair and emotion with her strong British accent, something that was sorely lacking from Megan Fox’s uninteresting Mikaela character who always spoke in a monotone voice, the few times she actually did speak.
Michael Bay’s final Transformers film is in the last legs of post-production and will arrive in theaters in 2D and 3D on July 1.
