A teaser that aired during Entertainment Tonight has revealed the first (blurry) images of Scarlett Johansson as The Black Widow as plastered onto an upcoming issue of Entertainment Weekly. Thanks to Superhero Hype, the images are now making the Internet rounds.
High-res versions of the pics, which also include Mickey Rourke as Whiplash and Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, are expected on Friday when the new issue of Entertainment Weekly hits news stands. Paramount will likely release official images to the media either before or during Comic-Con next week.
I know the pictures are blurry but doesn’t she look great? The red hair, the pose; you can hardly tell that’s Scarlett at all. Look closely and you’ll spot Black Widow’s signature bracelets locked and in place.
Jon Favreau’s Iron Man 2 will fly into theaters on May 7, 2010. Look for Paramount to unveil the first official footage at Comic-Con.
