Ryan Reynolds has fought mutants as Deadpool and battled hormones and Sandra Bullock in The Proposal. For his next gig, Reynolds is stepping outside his comfort zone and into a wooden box buried several feet under the desert.
For director Rodrigo Cortés’ Buried, Reynolds plays a US contractor working in Iraq who comes under attack by Iraqi insurgents. He awakens after the ambush buried in a coffin with nothing more than a lighter and a cell phone at his disposal and limited time to escape before suffocating.
