In an interview with Kellvin at Latino Review to promote his upcoming film Machete, director Robert Rodriguez revealed there are plans in place to release the El Mariachi Mexico Trilogy alongside Machete on Blu-ray in early 2011.
The El Mariachi Mexico Trilogy stars Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Johnny Depp, and Willem Dafoe. It should include El Mariachi, Desperado and Once Upon a Time in Mexico and has been available on DVD for awhile. None of the trio have ever been released on Blu-ray.
We’ll have more on these early 2011 titles in the coming months. Machete hits theaters on September 3.
