BBC Home Video has announced Earth: The Biography is bound for Blu-ray Disc on July 22, day-and-date with DVD.
Earth: The Biography will look to capitalize on the success of BBC’s Planet Earth series, which remains a Blu-ray bestseller well over a year after its release.
This new two-disc set “Earth” set will include 5 episodes from the series: Volcano, Atmosphere, Ice, Oceans, and Rare Earth. In total they will span 230 minutes.
Warner will present Earth: The Biography on BD-25 discs in widescreen 1.85:1 1080p video and stereo 2.0 audio.
Supplemental features are unknown at this time, but we’ll be sure to update you should any surface between now and release.
