Electronic Arts has announced ‘NASCAR 08’ will be available on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 this summer, the first iteration of the long-running series to appear on either next-gen console. Gracing the cover will be two-time NASCAR NEXTEL CUP Series champion Tony Stewart.
‘NASCAR 08’ will put drivers into the circuit as a rookie and challenge them to race through to the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series championship and unlock legendary cars along the way. Drivers will be able to tune their car for each track from upwards of 40 options, share their tuned rides online, and challenge up to 16 online opponents to a race.
