Electronic Arts today announced the latest chapter in the “NBA Street” franchise will be available next Spring for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
“Since its unveiling in 2001, NBA STREET has always raised the bar with innovative gameplay and fresh visuals,” said Wil Mozell, executive producer on the project. “The power of the Next Generation hardware gives us the horsepower to break new ground for consumers, making it the perfect stage for the next iteration of NBA STREET. Casual gamers and sports fans can still expect ‘easy to pick-up and difficult to master’ gameplay, with progressive visuals and some of the biggest gameplay moments in action sports.”
Developers are aiming to create a “hyper-real world that merges legendary courts with the hometown courts”. Other than that, we’ll have to be patient for more details to be released.
