EA further delays The Godfather for Xbox 360

After being slammed by critics – including us – at last year’s E3, EA wisely delayed The Godfather in all formats until early 2006 for much needed added development time. Well here we are in early 2006, and as promised, EA has announced the gangster simulator will be available March 21 for PC, Xbox and Playstation 2.

The PSP and Xbox 360 version however are now delayed until “later in 2006,” marking yet another victim of now commonplace Xbox 360 delays. Whether the timeframe means the summer or the holidays, who knows. With this second stint of added development time, the next-gen version better offer a lot more than just prettier graphics.
