Electronic Arts has announced the new intellectual property Mirror’s Edge has officially gone gold.
For the uninitiated, Mirror’s Edge puts players in the shoes of a “runner” named Faith. Using her incredible acrobatic and leaping abilities, Faith must run, jump and scale her way across towering buildings and through tight quarters — all presented from a first-person perspective.
Though guns are available in Mirror’s Edge, a skilled player can complete the game without firing a single shot.
A playable demo is now available for free download for both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 via Xbox Live Marketplace and the Playstation Network, respectively.
In addition, an exclusive Time Trial mode is available in the demo for those who pre-order the game from a select retailer.
Mirror’s Edge will vault onto store shelves November 11.
