After giving a brief demonstration of ‘Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare’ at Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference last night, developer Infinity Ward announced a playable multiplayer BETA will be available for download via Xbox Live sometime next month, ala ‘Halo 3’ was earlier this year. The who, how, what and exactly when are still shrouded in mystery, but with only a few weeks until August hits, expect additional details to flow in shortly.
