Warner Home Video has surprisingly announced a November 13, 2012 release date for Doctor Who: Series Seven, Part One. That will put the first part of Season 7 into home roughly six weeks after the mid-season finale on September 29.

The Blu-ray edition of Doctor Who: Series Seven, Part One is a two-disc set that will include all five episodes from the September run: ‘Asylum of the Daleks,’ ‘Dinosaurs on a Spaceship,’ ‘A Town Called Mercy,’ ‘The Power of Three,’ and ‘The Angels Take Manhattan.’ Each episode will be presented in 1.78:1 1080p video and 5.1 Dolby Digital audio.

I can confirm that Doctor Who: Series Seven, Part One Blu-ray and DVD bonus features include The Science of Doctor Who featurette, Doctor Who at Comic Con, as well as some Bonus Scenes.
