A few short days ago, we broke the news of National Treasure: Book of Secrets Blu-ray Disc details, save for a street date. We still don’t have a street date for the sequel, but we’ve nailed one down for the original.
According to multiple retail sources, the original National Treasure is scheduled for a May 20 appearance on Blu-ray Disc. Unfortunately no additional details are present at this time, but we expect this disc to contain most, if not everything found on the two-disc DVD version, and maybe a couple new surprises as well.
It’s a good bet National Treasure: Book of Secrets will arrive in stores on the exact same date, with the original piggybacking off the sequel’s newness to home video. We’d be shocked if it landed on any other date.
Amazon.com has already made National Treasure on Blu-ray available for pre-order, and other e-retailers are sure to follow shortly.
