Bethesda Softworks has announced the first DLC pack for Dishonored will be released this December. It won’t matter if you own the Xbox 360, PS3 or PC version of the game as all platforms will have accessibility to the DLC pack on the same as-of-yet announced day.
The Dishonored DLC pack is called Dishonored: Dunwall City Trials and includes 10 challenge maps designed to put your stealth, mobility and combat skills to the test. Some of the 10 trails included in the maps will require players to complete “an arena battle against waves of enemy AI, a gravity-defying run of drop assassinations, and a race against the clock.”
New Xbox 360 Achievements and PS3 Trophies are included with Dishonored: Dunwall City Trials, as will be a global online leaderboard for bragging rights.
Pricing for Dishonored: Dunwall City Trials is set at $4.99 or 400 Microsoft Points.
Two more Dishonored DLC packs are coming in 2013 with the first due in spring. It will put players into the shoes of Daud, leader of a supernatural group of assassins who go by the name of ‘The Whalers.’ Daud is teased to have his own unique set of powers, weapons and gadgets hidden throughout Dunwall that he will need to complete the story-driven campaign.
The big news here is all Dishonored DLC packs will be released simultaneously on all platforms. The PS3 crowd will have no reason to complain as they have with the delayed DLC releases on Skyrim.
