You have to hand it to Dexter Morgan. The guy has a hard time shaking a hand. Especially one that first appeared in his refrigerator years ago.
Showtime has released the first batch of publicity images from Dexter: Season 7 that remind us where last season ended, as well as paint some broad strokes of what the future holds. The first four images are all from the Dexter: Season 7 premiere and feature Dexter (Michael C. Hall) and Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) at the scene of Dexter’s Season 6 murder. There’s a spoiler in one of the images if you connect the dots, but nothing that should ruin the enjoyment of seeing the episode for the first time.
The next three images are from the second episode of Season 3 and focus on the aftermath of Dexter’s sloppy work. He and Deb appear to be at a crossroads in their relationship judging by the blank looks on their faces. Meanwhile, James Remar is back as Harry and has more fatherly advice to dish out from beyond the grave.
And, oh yeah, there’s that familiar hand that could end up being Dexter’s undoing.
In the final trio of images from episode 3, Isaak Sirko (Ray Stevenson), George Novikov (Jason Gedrick) and Hannah McKay (Yvonne Strahovski) make their debuts. The males are part of a Russian mob tied to a nightclub that Miami Homicide will tangle with. Strahovski’s character is rumored to be a femme fatale that will cross paths with, specifically, Dexter.
Showtime will air the Dexter: Season 7 premiere on Sunday, September 30.
