Capcom has announced ‘Devil May Cry 4,’ already deep in development for Playstation 3, will be released simultaneously on Xbox 360 despite previous indications pointing towards a Sony exclusives. Each version will take advantage of its respective console’s strengths, though what that means beyond Xbox 360 Achievement points remains to be seen.
In addition to a slew of pretty new screenshots, a gameplay detail was confirmed in the announcement. Players will control a new character, Nero, who uses a “Devil Bringer” arm weapon extension for combat. The new weapon will allow for countless attacks and combos set in a variety of new locales.
Sadly, a release date has yet to be even hinted at for ‘Devil May Cry 4,’ but we continue to hold hope for a late 2007 release.
