Universal has chosen to release the Super Bowl TV spot for Jon Favreau’s Cowboys & Aliens a few hours early as tipped by Favreau on Twitter a few minutes ago. No complaints here!
The spot, which you can watch endlessly below, spends the first 15 seconds recapping the last trailer’s footage where the aliens first arrive in the old west. Once into the last 15 seconds, the action ramps up and you get a good look at one of the alien ship types and how Daniel Craig tries to take it down.
Cowboys & Aliens also co-stars Olivia Wilde, seen in her touted “naked” scene, as well as Harrison Ford and Iron Man 2’s Sam Rockwell.
