Clerks II will beat its predecessor to Blu-ray Disc with news that Genius/Wellspring is releasing the title in HD on February 10.
Clerks II was originally released on HD DVD by Genius almost two years ago. That version included three commentaries and behind-the-scenes footage in 1080i. Those features will likely make their way to Blu-ray Disc with possibly more from the DVD version tacked on as well.

A confirmed date for Clerks II suggests Weinstein, who owns the distribution rights to Kevin Smith’s latest film Zack and Miri Make a Porno, will release that film on the same date. We don’t have confirmation this will happen but feel very good about its chances.
Clerks II on Blu-ray will retail for $34.95.
