Carrie Fisher Maybe Confirms Star Wars Episode VII Appearance

Carrie Fisher Maybe Confirms Star Wars Episode VII AppearanceTV Guide had the opportunity to talk to Carrie Fisher about her presumed role in Star Wars Episode VII, and apparently got some great information from the woman behind Princess Leia. If only they conveyed said information in a more complete manner.

In an article titled ‘Keck’s Exclusives First Look: Carrie Fisher Visits Legit and Big Bang,’ author William Keck was able to speak to Fisher about her upcoming slate including the shows mentioned in the article title. He also asked Fisher about Star Wars and confirmed that she expects herself, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill to “report to work” for Episode VII in March or April. No exact quote from Fisher is offered.

Keck does provide a quote in the next sentence, “I’d like to wear my old [cinnamon buns] hairstyle again – but with white hair. I think that would be funny.” Again, Keck offers no reference for the question asked so this quote could be taken completely out of context. He could have asked, “If you were to appear in Episode VII, how would you like Princess Leia’s hair to be styled?” Unfortunately this is all we get.

Still, despite the news being reported as an afterthought next to television guest appearances and lacking reference, hats off to Keck for getting Fisher to open up a little about the J.J. Abrams-directed Star Wars sequel that not one official casting announcement has been made for.
