Brian De Palma’s Carlito’s Way will be making its way to Blu-ray Disc for the first time on May 18.
The film starring Al Pacino, Sean Penn and Penelope Ann Miller made its high definition debut in October 2007 on HD DVD. A direct-to-video sequel, Rise to Power, was also released on HD DVD but is not scheduled for a Blu-ray treatment at this time.
The Blu-ray version of Carlito’s Way will arrive in 2.35:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. D-BOX Motion Code will be included on the disc.
