Marvel has dropped the first extended footage from Captain America: The Winter Soldier that features Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson as Captain America and Black Widow, respectively, jumping out of a plane and then assaulting pirates, led by French Marvel villain Georges Batroc, who took over a ship carrying some valuable cargo.
The clip is heavy on action as Cap uses everything from his fists to shield to some high-S.H.I.E.L.D. gear in order to locate and reach the captive crew of the ship. Black Widow is equally deadly using her signature moves to subdue attackers and then calmly walk away from her dirty work.
There’s a lot of playful banter between Black Widow and Cap as she gives him a hard time about not having a life outside of work. Black Widow calls it multitasking as she carries on telling Cap who he should ask on a date in between taking out pirates.
The Captain America: The Window Soldier clip concludes with a mix of footage from the previously released trailers and TV spots, as well as some all-new shots of Cap and his allies in action.
Captain America: The Window Soldier will deploy into theaters in less than a month on April 4.
